By Grace We Go into the Unknown

Hello dear friends and family,
2020 has been a heck of a year, to say the least!!
We're grateful to have made it this far (mostly) unscathed.  Usually at the end of the year, we're reflecting on all the miles and smiles we've traveled and exchanged.  Looking back at 2019, and even the beginning of 2020, it's hard to believe how busy we kept ourselves.  We have appreciated the long moment of stillness to collect our thoughts and see where we're at.

We’ve managed to keep up our spirits despite the changes, challenges, and losses. We hope that you have as well.

One big change for us this year is that we sold our car and found DORIS, our home on wheels, tour van, and all around adventure vessel.  HAVE SOUND, WILL TRAVEL!  We’ll be spending the winter getting her built out for living in and working from.

We’re hopeful that summer 2021 finds us traveling and playing music for you all again, even if in smaller, outdoor settings.

While we haven’t been gigging or traveling hardly at all this year, we have stayed busy with writing songs, researching van life, and making music videos.  If you didn’t catch us for our series of Facebook Livestreams, we've posted quite a number of them on YouTube.  Last year at this time, we were selling two guitars…well, they sold; and now two more of them are for sale, with demo videos posted on Matthew's YouTube and Facebook as well.
The guitars we're currently selling are: Gretsch 6120 and the Supro Westbury.

From our YouTube, you can also find a playlist with Matthew's recent creative uploads - he has a channel where he’s been posting beautiful, sweeping, instrumental short films, which combine his solo live-looping sessions along with various montages and photos from our travels.

I hope you all are making resolutions to make time for self-care, to nurture the experiences that bring you joy, and to surround yourself with community that you find your soul drawn towards and uplifted by.  It’s more important now than ever.   (This paragraph was in our Dec 2019 newsletter, and it feels more relevant now than ever, so I’m including it again!)

We are so grateful for all of your love, support and encouragement, especially this year!

If you’re hungry for live music and have a yard and a few friends, we’d LOVE to come play for y’all this spring and summer!  Please reach out and let us know.  #HaveSoundWillTravel

Thanks so much y'all!!!     xoxo M&M
