Guitarists For Good + Best Life Recovery

It was an honor to play for Sober Sunday at St. Stephens Music Hall; we also got to present guitar gifts to multiple organizations, thanks to Sandy Green and her org Guitarists for Good.
The news even came out for the event! There’s so much love and support in Huntsville, AL for sober living and recovery.
You are not alone!
Thanks Best Life Recovery Residences and Stephanie Jennings for all you do and share.
Look for these #sobersunday events monthly at St Stephen’s Music Hall (located within Campus 805).

This is the power of community, intention and synchronicity…we were so moved to be in community for Best Life Presents: Sober Sunday. And for us, it felt different playing many of our deeply personal songs to people who are also sober, and/or in recovery. The Yellow Balloon meeting before the show started was incredibly vulnerable, heart opening and moving.
We don’t wave our sober flag often, it’s our life path together, and personal. But Sunday’s group added another layer of fortitude and gratitude for the path we’re on.
Best Life Recovery Residences hosts these events monthly at St St. Stephens Music Hall. It’s a welcoming and nourishing place for anyone and everyone.
Thanks again to Sandy Green and Guitarists For Good!
Music heals!

"Guitarists for Good is a nonprofit organization dedicated to placing guitars and other instruments in the hands of those who need them most. Founded in 2016, we partner with 501(c)(3) organizations across the United States that serve individuals affected by homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking, addiction recovery, reentry programs, veterans, individuals with special needs, and those living with HIV/AIDS.
We do not give instruments directly to individuals — instead, we work through shelters, recovery centers, and service organizations to ensure that guitars are available in safe, supportive environments. Our goal is to offer hope, healing, and creative expression through music for those navigating some of life’s toughest challenges.
As of April 2025, Guitarists for Good has donated 670 instruments to 230 organizations across 32 states — and we're growing every year, thanks to the support of volunteers and donors."
Alabama will be the 33rd state in this program!
